Kerala maker Mani C Kappan has recorded a dissention against the creators of the Dhanush starrer Naiyaandi for claimed copyright violation bringing about the court issuing a brief stay request on the screening and conveyance of movie privileges of the motion picture. Mani C Kappan claims that Naiyaandi was a duplicate of Meleparambil Aanveedu and that the Tamil producers did not get his assent for the same.
According to these claims, the Handling Official Administrator of Naiyaandi, S. Nagarajan has discharged an articulation adage that he is in no time in ownership of the change privileges of the Malayalam film Meleparambil Aanveedu.
In his explanation he goes ahead to say that Naiyaandi is just enlivened by the Malayalam film and there is a distinction between the two stories. Still the Malayalam film was given a title card say as a sign of honour and appreciation to the makers of the first ever.
